The Professional MBA with IT Track requires students to have previous work experience, be working currently in a full-time or part-time position, completing an internship, or job shadowing. Additional purposes of this program are: To assist and encourage the development of a high level of professional competence in the respective field of specialization. To encourage a broad range of scholarship within the field of specialization. To provide supportive courses that broadens the range of professional competence beyond the respective field of specialization. To emphasize contemporary concepts of management practice. To prepare students to contribute to the advancements of their respective fields.This degree is primarily intended for practicing professional persons who possess a bachelor’s degree in business or a bachelor’s or advanced degree in some other area of specialization and who feel the need for additional study in order to maximize and enhance their ability to contribute to their career, their company, and society. The degree will assist students who have a bachelor’s degree to prepare for further study in doctoral programs.
