The 2 Term Pathway - Pre-Masters program at Durham University International Study Centre prepares students for advanced studies in finance and related fields. This program is designed to enhance academic skills and knowledge in business disciplines, facilitating a smooth transition to a Master's degree.

   Send the free application — your advisor checks every document before it goes to the university.

   Get your offer

   The university reviews your file and issues the acceptance letter.

   Confirm & visa

   Accept the offer — your advisor then prepares the visa file with you.

   Enroll & arrive

   Finalize enrollment on arrival and start classes.

Admission requirements

A relevant bachelor’s (honours) degree. Applicants are assessed on academic background relevant to the programme; entry typically expects a 2:2/2:1 (UK) or equivalent.

Language requirements

English-language proficiency is required. Where a minimum IELTS/TOEFL/PTE score is listed above, that figure is the threshold; otherwise typical requirements are around IELTS 6.0–6.5 for undergraduate and 6.5–7.0 for postgraduate study (or an accepted equivalent, or a Medium-of-Instruction waiver). Confirm the exact score with your advisor.

Proof of English proficiency — typically IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, Duolingo or equivalent (see the minimum scores listed). A Medium-of-Instruction (MOI) letter may be accepted in place of a test by some institutions.
