Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Meteorology at the University of the Incarnate Word equips students with the skills to analyze weather patterns and communicate forecasts effectively. This program combines meteorological theory with practical broadcasting techniques.

   The university reviews your file and issues the acceptance letter.

   Accept the offer — your advisor then prepares the visa file with you.

   Enroll & arrive

   Finalize enrollment on arrival and start classes.

Admission requirements

Completed secondary/high-school education with good grades in relevant subjects, or an equivalent qualification / recognised foundation or pathway programme.

Language requirements

English-language proficiency is required. Where a minimum IELTS/TOEFL/PTE score is listed above, that figure is the threshold; otherwise typical requirements are around IELTS 6.0–6.5 for undergraduate and 6.5–7.0 for postgraduate study (or an accepted equivalent, or a Medium-of-Instruction waiver). Confirm the exact score with your advisor.

Proof of English proficiency — typically IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, Duolingo or equivalent (see the minimum scores listed). A Medium-of-Instruction (MOI) letter may be accepted in place of a test by some institutions.
