Established in 1870, Colorado State University is a public land-grant research university. Located in Fort Collins of Colorado, CSU is a leading public institution that ranks 153 in National Universities and is named as one of the best doctoral universities. Occupying an area of 4,773 acres, the university has an expenditure of $ 407 million in research and one amongst the few universities in the U.S. which is regarded as Innovation and Economic Prosperity University. CSU offers more than 300 academic programs, including 70 major degrees, 80 minor degrees, and pre-professional advising courses. The cost of attendance for a full-time off-campus undergraduate Colorado resident is $ 28,401, and that of an on-campus student is $ 29,595. COA for a full-time undergraduate Colorado non-resident is approximately $ 50,000. If students can manage for financial aid via scholarships, the cost goes down to $ 20,000, as well.
