San Diego State University

Founded in 1897, San Diego State University, located in California, USA, is the oldest and largest higher education institution in San Diego. The University offers various programs- 96 Bachelor's, 80 Master's, and 21 Doctoral degree programs taught in over eight colleges. Along with that, it also provides over 350 programs in more than 50 countries. Some popular courses are Business Administration and Management, Psychology, Criminal Justice/Safety Studies, Health and Physical Education/Fitness, and Biology/Biological Sciences. The top programs of the University include- M.Sc. Information Systems, M.Sc. Computer Science, M.Sc. Mechanical Engineering, M.Sc. Nursing, and MBA. Along with academics, the University has over 300 organizations- Accounting Society, American Indian Student Organization, Artist Management and many more in which students with different interests participate. It also conducts various annual artistic events like plays, dances, films, music, etc. The University also provides a few scholarships for students. The scholarships are only available to the freshman. The student's admission application is the application for the scholarships. The Office of Undergraduate Admissions determines merit scholarships.
