Golden Gate University, also called the GGU, is located in San Francisco, California. It is a private, non-profitable university founded in 1901, and works on a trimester-based academic calendar. It is a non-profitable institution accredited by the Western Association of Schools & Colleges (WASC). Law schools hold accreditation from the American Bar Association, Association of American Law Schools & the State Bar of California. However, it offers two undergraduate degrees with eight concentrations and 15 graduate degrees with 24 concentrations. Concentration degrees focus on a student’s academic program on advanced study in a specific subject or field.
