Troy University

Troy University is a public university located in the state of Alabama in the United States. It was founded in 1887 as the Troy Normal State School to help train and educate upcoming teachers in the region. Over the years, it has become the flagship university of the Troy University System. The university consists of seven schools and colleges, which offer numerous degrees in undergraduate, graduate and doctoral studies. The main campus of the university is located in Troy, Alabama. The campus in Montgomery is home to the Rosa Parks Library and Rosa Parks Museum, a tribute to the Civil Rights activist of the 20th century.
