Nova Southeastern University

Formerly known as the Nova University of Advanced Technology, Nova Southeastern University is a private university with its main campus in Davie, Florida and was founded in 1964 and is spread over an area of 314 acres. It is certified by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. The student to faculty ratio is 17:1 and the college has 73.8% of classes with less than 20 students. The university consists of 18 colleges and schools and offers over 150 programs to study which includes- sociology, law, business, osteopathic medicine, allopathic medication, pharmacy, optometry, physical therapy, education, occupational therapy and nursing. The college is selective in the admissions of the students with an acceptance rate of 80%. Undergraduate students are given the option to live on-campus in the various residential halls of the university. Nova Southeastern University has housing & dining facilities for all its undergraduate and graduate students. Every room is equipped with beds, desks, desk chairs, dressers, and a built-in storage/counter facility. Off-campus accommodation is also available. The residence type includes studio apartments, 3 bedroom apartments, 4 bedroom apartments, and shared apartments. Also, shopping, dining, and entertainment centers are within a walking distance from the university. Various scholarships are offered - Narotam Sekhsariaäó»s Scholarships, Gates Millennium Scholarship, Hani Zeini Scholarship, and many more. These scholarships are offered to both graduate and undergraduate students. The fees for both in-state and out-state students are 50,597 USD including tuition fees, book supplies, room and boarding costs, and also other expenses.
