Founded in 1986, Whitireia New Zealand is a tertiary education institute located on the shores of Porirua Harbour, New Zealand. Earlier the name was changed from Parumoana Community College to Whitireia Community Polytechnic in 1989 and later replaced the community hall with New Zealand the name in 2010. It is a government-owned and funded educational institution in New Zealand.
