Founded in 1962, the North Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) is primarily a government institution providing education in several disciplines of skilled trades, business, health and science. This institution comprises three different campuses, where three are located in Edmonton and one in Spruce Grove. The main campus involves productivity, centre for applied technology and innovation centre and the HP centre. The other campuses provide different apprenticeship training programs. Moreover, the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) provides nearly $5.6 million in scholarships and bursaries to deserving students. This institution is considered one of the largest apprenticeship trainers in Canada, providing 34 registered trade programmes. This university has a huge alumni network of nearly 200,000 students in 95 countries. Through events and career fairs, students are offered with placement opportunities. Moreover, to enhance students’ learning, this institution has an equipped library, maker-space with 3D printing, full-service print shop, laser-cutting and robotics technology, soundproof audio and video production booths.
