Missouri State University founded in 1905, is located in Missouri, United States. There are 26,001 students in total in the university, out of which 20,681 are undergraduates and 3,709 are postgraduates. There are two campuses of the university, one being the Springfield campus and the other being in West Plains. Having a campus size of 225 acres, Missouri State University( MSU) follows a semester-based academic calendar. The college provides various programs- graduate, undergraduate, master's, and doctorate along with 100 majors and 50 minors. Some of the popular courses taught here are- Accounting, Agriculture Education, Anthropology, Computer Science, Counselling, Business Administration, Chemistry and many more. Each class has a student- faculty ratio of 21:1. Missouri State University provides on-campus accommodation as well as meal plan options for its students. It lets the students choose from the 8 different residential halls and 2 apartments available. Students are provided with amenities like- community-style bathrooms, a microwave & small fridge in the room, cable tv, WIFI, community TV lounge, community kitchen, and 24-hour computer lab. There are over 300 organizations where students can engage in. They are responsible for planning and organizing concerts, lectures, special events, etc. The different organizations include- Advertising Club, Advocates, Agronomy, Aerialists, and many more. Missouri State University's tuition is 7,750 USD for in-state and 15,910 USD for out-of-state students. This amount includes tuition fees but the amount may increase or decrease depending on the utilization of amenities like- library services, student gym facilities, student centers, technology resources, and campus health centers. Both need and merit-based scholarships or financial aid are provided by the MSU. Need-based aid is determined by the student's family's demonstrated ability to pay for college, as calculated by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, known as the FAFSA.
